We went one quite afternoon on a weekend. Kids loved the splash pad. Good for spending few hours here

Cristoforo Colombo Park is a wonderful place for families and kids! The park is very spacious, clean, and well-maintained, making it perfect for spending a few relaxing hours outdoors. The playground is large with plenty of equipment to keep children entertained, and the splash pad is a huge hit during the warmer months. My child had an amazing time running around and playing in the water. There are also plenty of open green spaces for picnics, games, or simply relaxing. If you're looking for a family-friendly park with a great play area and splash park, Cristoforo Colombo Park is definitely worth a visit!

We went there for the 4th July concert and fireworks. Very huge park with a nice stage for the concerts and other events. This park also has a huge playground for kids of all ages and a nice splash pad as well. Convenient parking available nearby at the DCU parking lot.

A really nice park on Shrewsbury St with an outdoor amphitheater and a splash area for kids during the hot weather. The park is slightly sloped but has flat areas for easy walks. Dogs are welcomed on a leash. The park is easily accessible for handicapped. A bus stop is located at the entrance. The granite griffins (winged lions) that flank the entrance are out of place since the rest of the park doesn't match their significance. The Griffins are originally from the Old Union Station and were arch supports for the train shed.

Nice park, not too crowded. splash pad is clean and all-ages friendly. 2 playground areas; one for bigger kids and one for smaller tots. A tennis court, basketball courts, baseball field, benches, picnic tables, and a bandstand. Right on Shrewsbury street. Drinking fountains and public bathrooms as well. A nice spot to cool off in the summer and a good place to let the kids runs around and play in.
